I have over 10 years of experience being a nanny for children of all ages. I loved being a nanny and being a part of the children’s development. I graduated from Northwestern College in St. Paul with a degree in Music Education. For the past eight years I have been working with seniors as an activity director at a senior living home in Bloomington. During that time I organized trips to campgrounds, museums, theaters for movies or plays, parks, and restaurants that helped to create a sense of community and belonging. My experience as a nanny was well suited to that position as I brought experience of creatively engaging my kids in fun and educational activities with trips to local parks, zoos, the arboretum, or local libraries. My kids ranged in ages from 18 months to 10 years of age, each child with their own needs and expectations, allowing me Read more to adapt to their needs while balancing the roles of care giver and friend. My previous work experience also includes working at a church camp for 5 summers in many different roles, ranging from cabin counselor to Program Director. It was through this job that my passion for kids was ignited. My husband and I just had our first child in October and I'm looking to make a shift in my work life by returning to what I am passionate about, becoming a nanny for a family. The ideal situation would allow me to care for your children as well as my own. My husband and I are active at our church, enjoy being outside, camping, hiking, working on home improvement projects, and being with our families. We have memberships to MN Zoo and MN Orchestra.
