Hello! My name is Perla, I am 20 currently in my second year of college studying nursing. I am very energetic, kind and I have a really positive attitude! I genuinely love caring and helping kids and people. I grew up taking care of my little sisters and helping my mom with the kids she took care of. Ive been volunteering at my church’s daycare since I was 13. I’ve also volunteered at a middle school and highschool when I was in junior and senior year. I had my first job at a daycare when I was 15, and I currently work with middle schoolers and high schoolers in a program. I have a certified nurse assistant/aide and I also have an emergency medical responder certification. I am bilingual and speak fluent Spanish. I am so exited and ready to create a fun, safe and supportive environment! You can text me at 6125981701 if that’s easier too!!

After my "journalism" career (too many ad agencies and a faltering book industry), I began working with children, the elderly, and pets. Being a trusted, reliable presence in their lives provides a life balance that I enjoy, and utilizing a care provider with a good attitude is beneficial for everyone involved. For a few years (until I broke my arm skiing on too much ice), I worked part-time as a CNA (Cert. Nursing Assistant), but began spending more time as a substitute for teachers and paraprofessionals in local schools. When Covid came along, I teamed up with a family who wanted to keep a close watch on safety for their premature baby. I was lucky to find a temporary position that allowed me to return to this family to care for their second child, who is now in pre-school (I still babysit on their "date nights." I have raised two sons, one diagnosed with ADHD and the other with Asperger Syndrome (a high-functioning form of autism), conditions that often swim in the same genetic pool. I played on their strengths when offering activity choices to them, and today they are both doing well as young adults following their own career paths. When my children were very young, I taught Sunday school to grade-school-aged children while running a licensed in-home childcare center. I love to do individual outdoor activities that match the weather, although walking my shared Corgi must happen regardless of temperature or precipitation. I tend to eat very well -- my goal is to retain as much of my physical, spiritual, and mental health as possible. I love sharing this knowledge with little ones and helping them to grow into who they were meant to become.

Hi families! I am a recent graduate from the University of San Diego, now living back at home in MN until grad school. I was a communication major but looking to go into Speech Pathology post-grad. I have 7 years of experience babysitting but also have a brother with pretty severe special needs, so I have always been a caretaker in some way! I love being interactive and doing fun activities. Can't wait to meet your family!

Hello! A little about me, I have 5 years of experience as a nanny, 4 years in a child care setting (6weeks-12yrs), and 4 years as a PCA (teen girl with cerebral palsy). I also had the opportunity to do a summer internship at a pediatric clinic. I am very comfortable with all ages of children, multiples, large families, as well as children with disabilities. I also have worked for a private cleaning company, so light housework is not a problem. I enjoy hiking, baking, cooking, paddle boarding, golfing, skiing, fishing, sports, and anything else outdoors. While caring for children, I enjoy getting their energy out while playing outdoors (when the weather permits), going on adventures (parks, water parks, hikes, museums, ice cream shops, indoor playgrounds, trampoline parks, etc.), and creating/planning developmental appropriate crafts and sensory activities. I also love all pets and have many years of experience caring for them in my household as well as private pet sitting. Thank you for considering!
