Hello, my name is Kaitlyn, I am 20 years old and am currently attending anoka ramsey community college. I have been in child care for 9 years and have loved every second. I started in childcare by babysitting when I was 10.5, about once a month, and found that I really enjoyed it. I watched the first children for about 2 and a half years before I found a more permanent position as a summer nanny for a family friend. That position lasted for about 6 summers before I wasn’t needed anymore and switched back and watched my neighbors children on the weekends. When I graduated highschool and went to college I found a position closer to my living area and had that for about a year and a half before I switched to a full time Personal Care Assistant (PCA).
