Hello! My name is Madeleine and I am a graduating senior at the University of Minnesota receiving my degrees in Political Science and Spanish Studies. I am organized, responsible, and reliable. I understand the importance of punctuality and being on time for pick-ups, drop-offs, and appointments. I am also comfortable with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation for the children. My previous experience in childcare ranges from babysitting and nannying preschool and elementary aged children to being a camp councilor for middle and high school aged children. My approach to childcare is rooted in kindness, patience, and creativity. I believe that every child is unique and deserves to be treated with respect and compassion. I love to engage with kids in meaningful ways, whether it's through imaginative play, educational activities, or simply spending time outdoors. Furthermore, I am a proficient violinist and taught beginning violin for 4 years. Playing violin has not only taught me discipline, but also has allowed me to share my love of music with the families I have worked for. I am a good communicator and listener, and I am open to feedback and suggestions. I believe that clear communication is key to a successful working relationship between a nanny and a family.
