I have worked with children since my very first job as a playground activities coordinator. I have been a nanny for several families, including those with special needs and I also have been coaching kids in gymnastics for over five years. I recently went back to school for my early childhood and elementary degree and I will have a license to teach through third grade by January of 2017. (I am currently student teaching.) When I am working with kids, I don't just supervise, I get down and play with them. I teach them songs, read them books, pretend and run around with them. My references will tell you their kids absolutely love me and are always asking when I can come and "visit" again. I don't have a lot of free time right now but I am available Fridays after 8 p.m., Saturdays after 3 p.m. and all day Read more Sunday. I also have lots of experience with overnights while parents travel. I am comfortable with multiple children. Four or more children at a time doesn't concern me. Special needs are not an issue as well. I am comfortable with pets. I grew up with dogs and I have two cats of my own.
