I'm a big lover of kids and strive to be a mother myself one day! I've been babysitting/nannying/doing childcare work for 5 years. At first, I did normal babysitting work. Then I had a job at a childcare facility called OK Kids in Orono, MN for two years while I babysat on the side. At OK Kids I provided healthy and nutritious snacks for each child, safely brought children to and from various school related activities, built relationships with the children’s’ parents to gain trust in the safety of their child, and organized fun/educational games and activities. From the skills I gained there, I became a nanny last summer for my next door neighbors (still babysitting on the side). As a nanny, I drove each child to and from various summer activities, prepared a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner, provided care and comfort for each child when they were hurt, Read more gave a specific child with Cystic Fibrosis the appropriate medicine and also assisted in that child’s various morning and nightly treatments. Though it's been a few years since my last CPR class, I can still recollect the basic procedure. I go to Bethel University, and plan on leaving mid-August to further my studies in New York City.
