My name is Meghan Hayden and I am 19 years old. I recently completed my freshmen year at the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, MN and I am majoring in Accounting. I play on the St. Bens Ultimate Frisbee team and I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My interest in nannying largely stems from the example that my nanny set for me when I was growing up. Her name was Lindsay and she watched over my older sister, my older brother, my younger brother and myself for multiple summers while my parents worked. Although the four of us were definitely a handful, Lindsay would come back every morning with a renewed sense of purpose and a contagious smile. To this day our family still keeps in touch with her and we see her as often as she can manage. She is now married with Read more a son of her own, and I have had the pleasure of babysitting her son several times. I’ve seen firsthand what a profound, positive impact a nanny like Lindsay can have on a family and I hope that I can impact another family in the same way. I have about six years of experience babysitting for various families as well as experience working with children in my dad's 5th grade classroom. I have mainly taken care of children ranging from 6 months to 12 years old. I have experience changing diapers, assisting in bathing, cooking meals, caring for pets, maintaining a clean house, and providing fun activities for children. I am responsible, friendly, and energetic, and I believe that I have the skills to provide a safe and fun environment for children.
