I grew up caretaking for children and infants - my mom ran a daycare since I can remember - besides being the older of many little cousins in a large family. Since, I have worked as a volunteer kindergarten teacher for eighteen months in Uganda, a teacher in Malawi for four, a paraprofessional in my hometown Elementary school (Cook County Elementary) for one year, a "grace place" teacher for my church for two years, a nanny in Scotland for six months, and finally I pick up shifts at the Lifetime Fitness daycare in St. Louis Park. I've been a caretaker for kids of all ages since I can remember- I love children and taking care of them in some way will always be a part of my life.
