Hi! My name is Josh, and I am currently a medical student attending the University of Minnesota Medical School. I am planning on going into pediatrics because I have so many good memories and experiences working with kids. Outside of school, my biggest hobbies include staying active, spending time with my partner and our two cats, cooking, and relaxing and throwing a movie on when I get the chance! My childcare experience began in high school. I worked at a daycare for a year working with pre-k students. This is where I found out how much I enjoyed working with kids. Besides that, I have nannied for a total of 3 summers with two different families. Both of those families had school aged children, but I am comfortable working with toddlers and up! In addition to those experiences, I spent two weeks working in a pediatric clinic this last summer! Read more I was able to see patients, take a history from them, and working with my preceptor to make a diagnosis. In addition to the above experience, I am BLS certified which training for CPR resuscitation in adults, children and infants, removal of a foreign-body in the airway, and use of an AED.
