Hi! My name is Nicole! I am a 31-year-old Preschool teacher living in the Twin Cities area. I grew up in Illinois and attended Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Throughout college I worked as a nanny during the summers, and spent my afternoons at school working as a tutor and mentor for local children in our school's surrounding neighborhood. After graduation, I began working as an Environmental Educator. I have worked at several outdoor education centers in Illinois, Georgia, Washington, and Portland, Oregon. I wrote curriculum, led groups of kids in games, hikes and activities, and created a safe environment to explore and learn. For the last 5 years I have worked as a preschool teacher in a Montessori classroom. I am very passionate about teaching and being a positive adult influence in young people's lives. In my personal life I love listening to music, doing pottery, reading and jigsaw puzzles, and caring for my two rescue pups Friday and Zeppelin :)
