Hi! My name is Nicole! I am a 26-year-old college graduate living in the Twin Cities area. I grew up in Illinois and attended Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Throughout college I worked as a nanny during the summers, and spent my afternoons at school working as a tutor and mentor for local children in our school's surrounding neighborhood. After graduation, I began working as an Environmental Educator. I have worked at several outdoor education centers in Illinois, Georgia, Washington, and most recently Portland, Oregon. I wrote curriculum, led groups of kids in games, hikes and activities, and created a safe environment to explore and learn. I am very passionate about teaching, the outdoors, music, and being a positive adult influence in young people's lives. I am a huge advocate for experiential education and hands-on learning and I love being able to facilitate new experiences for youth!
