My name is Janaan Ahmed, 19yo, she/her/hers. Growing up in a big family, I took on the role of caregiving at a young age. Since then, I have fallen in love with caring for kiddos in my community and discovering new and different parenting styles. Over the past three years, I have provided childcare services through reoccurring babysitting, working in a daycare, and being a full-time nanny. My specialty is with infants but I have ample experience with toddlers and preschool-age kids. I love being outdoors, reading and writing and learning about the world around me. My passions are education, sociology, nature photography, ornithology, and spending time with loved ones. My strengths are communication, diligence, and creativity. I am self reflectant and open to constructive feedback. With an open mind, I am able to grow and improve on the job. Being creative comes naturally to me.
