THANK-YOU, BUT I HAVE BEEN HIRED. 11-14-21 (I apologize for the long block of text. I had this separated into paragraphs to make it easy to read, but the website won't display my bio with the paragraph separations.) I have been a nanny for 17 years, working with three families over the course of that time. One of my favorite things to do with the children in my care is go on outings. Outings with me can be as simple as going to the grocery store to pick up something we've run out of, or as big as a day at the zoo. Not every day can be an outing day, of course, and at home time is filled with arts and crafts, puzzles, music, walks to the playground, sidewalk chalk, ABCs, 123s, and all the fun things that childhood is all about. Some things to note about me: I Read more am looking for a family that is seeking a long-term nanny (2 years or more). I take the privacy of the families I work with very seriously. I will provide references at interviews only. My First Aid and CPR certifications are currently out of date. I am planning to renew them in the next month or two, depending on class availability. Currently, I am temporarily employed at a child care center. I am comfortable with pets and have experience with dogs, but I am allergic to cats. I own and maintain my own car, and am willing to use it to transport children in my care. I am equally willing to transport children in a vehicle provided by the family. I have done both in the past. Thanks to distance learning during the 2020-2021 school year, I am experienced in helping preschool and school age children manage homework and at-home learning.
