My first job was at Creative Kidstuff in Maple Grove and Wayzeta. There, not only was I a sales associate, but I also led birthday parties for kids ages 2-8. Being a sales associate at a children's store allowed me to gain knowledge about developmental needs and milestones for children of all ages. Leading birthday parties helped me learn how to manage large groups of kids while maintaining a safe and fun environment. Starting in 2015, I began providing after-school nanny services to a family with three children ages 5, 10, and 12. My responsibilities included keeping the kids entertained, helping with homework, driving to and from extracurricular activities, and meal preparation. I also have some experience working with children who have Down Syndrome. Every summer, I volunteer at Gigi's Playhouse in Saint Louis Park as a math and literacy tutor.
