My name is Lindsay, and I am a newly transplanted Minnesotan from Texas who followed her husband to the Mid-West so he can pursue his dreams working at the Mayo Clinic. I began babysitting at age 12 (now 29), and quickly grew into a loving nanny throughout high school for a family of 4 children. I would often travel with, stay overnight, aid in household chores, and take the children to numerous activities around town (both school related and just for fun). When not with the Schulte family, I would take care of other children ranging in age from 2 weeks, to 13 years old. Often while taking care of one family, other families in the neighborhood would drop their children off to play for a few hours, and I would end up with up to 12 children at a time. The running joke in our community was "Who gets Read more Lindsay today?". I was very blessed to be surrounded by so many opportunities to share my gift and passion for interacting with children. During college, I worked at a Day Care center, and was always booked solid for babysitting when I would come home on break. After college however, I began working in my field of study (Criminal Justice), and have continued in that till this day. For some time now though, I have been wanting to go back to my roots in child care. It is a fulfilling career that I have greatly missed.
