I have worked as a PCA years ago. At the time I worked with a young child (3 y/o) that had a metabolic disorder, and I needed to count/manage her fat intake. Also, I worked on some behavior management with her. For a short time I also worked with a quadriplegic where I learned some skills on repositioning and ROM exercises. Currently I'm working for a family to provide in-home care for their elderly mother. While I'm with her I cook, clean, do laundry, take vitals, help with her personal cares, and am a companion. I genuinely love to help others, and enjoy learning new skills!
