I have worked off and on as a nanny throughout my life, but over the past five years was focused more on professional growth. I worked for three years assisting in a self contained special education classroom at a preschool in Illinois before relocating here to the Twin Cities in 2012. I have since been working in Museum Educational programming at the Science Museum of Minnesota. However, I am at the point in my life where its now or never in getting my Masters so I am looking to have more flexible hours during the week, while still maintaining some of my educator role! As a result of my years at the preschool and from being the adult sibling of a young man with Down syndrome, I am particularly comfortable working with children with multiple needs. As well, I have a lot of experience and comfort working with infants.
