Hello Family, I would be very interested in caring for your little one! Working and playing with babies, toddlers and preschoolers is quite comfortable to me. Nearly every job I have had involves children in some way, while I remained mostly a stay home mom to my three awesome kids, now 18, 20 and 25. My husband and I are nearly empty-nesters, except for Dusty, our small, older non-shedding dog. Part-time work is important to me, providing me a bit of personal time and room to continue subbing in my community! My experiences... I grew up helping in my mothers licensed in-home daycare, substituted for other in-home daycare providers, was the neighborhood teen babysitter, taught Sunday School to preschool children, took my first nanny position as a college student, raised my three amazing kids, provided care for other children while at home with my own, worked as a special education Read more paraprofessional employee and substitute in my local school district, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Child Psychology (once upon a time!). Most recently... I completed a position in June watching little Jack of Mpls, who is now off to “real” daycare! I have since had the summer off...house hunting with my daughter in a very difficult market and enjoying time with my boys before they headed back to college.
