I love interacting with kids and quite frankly, often act like one myself. I was a previous youth pastor for 3 years serving 5th-8th grade students and before that did 2 years part time student ministry with high schoolers and college aged students. I have served as part time staff at a local rec center, led multiple summer camps (mainly sports camps), and was a part time substitute teacher for 2 years (1st-12th grades). I love the energy, fun, and enjoyable approach that kids have towards life. I also highly value keeping a balance of structure and fun, being their friend while keeping respect, and giving freedom to be kids while not crossing the line.
