I spent 3 years working towards a teaching degree and decided in the 4th year that I didn't want to work in the education system. I still wanted to work with children so I started working at a daycare. My official position is as a cook but I am teacher qualified and have worked with children in all of the classrooms (ages 2 months to 10 years). My favorite groups to work with are infants and toddlers but I love working with older children as well. I worked with kids in classrooms 2 out of the 3 years I was going to school for education and have been working at my current center since April of 2023. I love cooking and baking, I'm interested in learning more about nutrition and healthy eating, and can do some cleaning around the house as needed.
