My name is Susan Horak and I am currently seeking a position as a nanny. I have over eight years of childcare experience, including babysitting and volunteering at my church's nursery. I have worked for several families: some several days a week, others for date nights or last minute care. I have completed some college and plan to continue working towards my associates degree and then onto a bachelor's. I have taken one course in childcare when I first started babysitting. Since then, I have relied on experience, advice from other nannies and verbal or written instruction from the families that I work for. It is very important to me that I understand how to best care for children while their parents are not able to be present. Children are precious and I want to do everything in my power to make sure that they are safe. I enjoy playing games with my charges, as well as reading and physical exercise. It is my goal that when the parent(s) return, the children are as safe and as happy as when the parent(s) left.
