Hello! My name is Katie. 28 year old graduate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I majored in Communications and minored in Psychology. Getting ready to go back to school for my MS in counseling, which will mostly be online to work with adolescents and families. Currently looking to find a wonderful family to help out and make memories with while juggling my school workload. Throughout my years of employment, most of my experience has dealt with children in a vast amount of areas ranging from the ages of infancy to teenagers. Being a stable, positive role model to the young minds I surround myself with brings my life happiness and purpose. My experience includes working with children with developmental disabilities for the past four years. I am a Registered Behavioral Therapist who has worked as a respite caretaker, as well as for organizations within clinics and naturalistic settings, implementing Read more ABA methodologies and integrating the ESDM model which revolves around all aspects of childhood development. Other experiences include babysitting, being a part time nanny for 4 years to two wonderful girls and their family, au pairing in Australia for a family, working as a TEFL certified teacher to Kindergarten for a year, interning at a non-profit for at risk children, and working at St. Louis Crisis Nursery that advocates for prevention of child abuse and neglect and is a safe haven for children going through trauma.
