I am a graduate student at Southeast Missouri State University studying speech-language pathology. I started babysitting when I was in the 7th grade. Since then I have spent my summers babysitting and transporting children around each summer. My mother is a third grade teacher so I have grown up learning how to work with children. I was a college mentor for a fourth grader at Illinois State University for two years. I was a member of Autism Speaks and worked with 3-4 children on their social skills. I was also a member of the service sorority Epsilon Sigma Alpha and volunteered to help with childcare for the families of Easter Seals. I love getting to interact with children and share the simple joys that they have for life.
