I love children and always have. I grew up helping out at a family friend’s daycare many days after school when I was in high school. I worked at Tiger Tots Child Development Center for 8 months during the end of 2019 and beginning of the 2020 COVID pandemic. In this position, I worked as a Co-Teacher in multiple classrooms for children ages 2-4. During this time, I learned how to potty train toddlers and manage multiple young children. Not to mention, got to spend a valuable amount of time teaching, doing crafts, and playing with the children. I also have worked at a children’s day summer camp for three summers. This required me being with about 30 kids from 9 am to 5 pm where I directed them (theatre camp), led a daily craft hour, organized parties, and played games with them. As far as other professional skills: I Read more have taken a class on child care and development and am trained in proper CPR for children. I spent my last two years of high school heavily involved in a culinary arts program where I gained a complete knowledge of cooking basics and much more. I can assure that your child will never go hungry with me around. I have my Food Handler's card and am very good with food safety and sanitation. I have worked in many restaurants, and specifically have experience working in a completely gluten-free kitchen that specialized in accommodating many other dietary restrictions. I am very hard-working and will be completely devoted to helping your child grow into the amazing human they're bound to become with the right amount of love and guidance.
