I am a single 23 year old who has just moved home after completing an internship in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am completing my last 3 college credit hours online, and then I will be looking to start my career. I have been experienced in childcare for ten years and counting. I have cared for children of all ages and numbers; from infants to pre-teens, from all boys to one girl and her dog. I build close relationships with the families I help, and am in contact with most of them to this day. I have been paid nothing up to over ten dollars an hour. I always tell the parents it is up to them, but I think a good range is anywhere from eight to twelve depending on the circumstances. I have volunteered with kids in my church and worked with other children when I was employed at the Read more YMCA where I received my certifications in both CPR and First Aid. I have learned how to care for special needs children as well as those with developmental issues. I believe it is very important to abide by the same rules the parents have set up for their household when I look after their children. I am also great with creating games and activities, and very willing to go along with ones the children personally enjoy as well.
