I absolutely love and adore children and the elderly. I am currently starting my 6th year at St. Patrick's school in the preschool program as an aide. I do teach the class under some circumstances. For the past 6 years I have also worked St. Patrick's aftercare and summer camp program. I have been a parishioner at St. Patrick's for 15 years. Before starting our family I was employed at DePaul Hospital. I was a surgical assistant for 11 years and was certified for the operating room. My husband and I started our family in 2002. I was extremely blessed to stay at home with our children for many years. Our oldest child graduated from St. Patrick's last year and just started his Fresman year at CBC High School. He plays football and just received his driving permit. Our middle child is starting her 8th grade year at St. Patrick's school, and our youngest started his 5th grade year. I enjoy watching my children play their favorite sports. My favorite hobby would be camping but that doesn't happen as often as I would like mostly due to the fact the kids games are on the weekends. With 4 years of daycare experience, CPR certification, Safe Sleep certification and 11 hours of Early Child Development coursework, I'm well-equipped to handle up to 4 children of various ages (0-11). I prioritize open communication with parents, providing regular updates and using their preferred method of contact. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. I graduated from Saint Louis University with a B.S. in English and minor in Catholic Studies in the spring of 2024. I love working with kids as they tend to make life interesting in unexpected and novel ways! Who wouldn’t want their joy? I have worked as a nanny for two families whose children have ranged from 2 to 6.5 years of age. I have experience with potty training, maintaining routines, engaging kids in age appropriate activities, snack and lunch times, and buckling kids into front and rear facing car seats with 5-point harnesses. Hi my name is Jazmyn I live in Lake Saint Louis Mo, I am currently a full time infants lead teacher in Weldon Springs. I've previously worked at a daycare in Wildwood Mo working in infants room. I attended Southeast Missouri state university majoring in early childhood education and there I worked at another daycare working with ages 0-6 years old. Here’s a little about me! I'm a kind, compassionate, and caring person born and raised in the midwest. As an aunt, caregiving has always been a part of my day-to-day. So, naturally, I turned to childcare as a profession at the age of 13, and I've never looked back. My background caring for infants, toddlers, and youth started when I became an aunt back in 2016. In middle school, I started babysitting throughout my neighborhood and became a very trusted individual for my community.
