I am a nanny with 8 years of practice, all with the same two families - another and my own. Past experience includes watching 2 children, beginning when they were ages 2 and 3, in addition to my own 2, who were ages 3 and 6. I love being a mom, and I believe a nanny's responsibility is to love, nurture, and train children in the same way their own parents would, thus promoting a steadfast sense of family even while Mom and Dad are away. I believe that children spell "love," t-i-m-e and that they learn far more by example and experience than by instruction alone. I consider it my responsibility and pleasure to not only tend to your child's/children’s physical needs, but also to spend time with them as well - reading, playing, cooking, crafting, picking up, etc. with them, giving them ample opportunities to learn.
