Currently I'm a 2nd year college student at metropolitan community college, I'm studying for a bachelor's in psychology. I then plan on going to law school to be a guardian ad litem (children's attorney in divorce or abuse cases.) I take evening classes on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30-9:15 so my days are free and most nights. I was a life guard and have performed rescue breathing before, but I was also trained for cpr and rescue breathing for all ages (since different sizes require slightly different techniques.) I love playing pretend (every year I work for the renissance fair as a princess.) I used to work in world of fun haunted houses, and at a Halloween store. I love seeing children excited, interacting with them, and helping them have fun. I have studied a few different learning techniques so far, and I love to help with home work. My Read more goal is to get kids excited about learning and I will always encourage college at any age or for any career your little one wants. Helping children understand and learn is one of my favorite things to do. I learned about this passion while being an assistant teacher to a 2nd grade summer school class. I also believe it is never to early to be read to or start reading. I would absolutely never smack, hit, or spank a child. I firmly believe explaining and time outside are the way to discipline, especially if it is not your own. I own a brand new 2017 hyundai elantra as of January 3rd, so I am definitely a safe option for getting kids to and from school or activities as long as you provide a car seat or booster seat. I would not require, but I do prefer a back facing car seat if the child is small enough. I just like to take as many precautions as possible to keep children safe. For a last little bit about me, I'm an aunt to two beautiful girls and we are very close. Oldest is 13 (she has mental illnesses, so I am not a stranger to giving extra help and hugs) and a 2 years old who never stops moving. Now that my sister is staying home with them, I'm not needed as much and have too much free time.
