Hello! I am a 27 year old woman and have been working with children my whole life. As the oldest of 5 siblings, the youngest two being 10 1/2 months apart, I took on a big role in helping my mother care for the family. Throughout my teenage years I would regularly babysit and care for other families with children ranging from newborns to early teens. The family I work part time with now have 3 children and I have been with them for 8 years. The children are grown and most of my work consists of running the household. I do not have children of my own and I would love to help out a family with young children again. They are so fun to work with while they are growing and learning. I enjoy having flexibility to take them on excursions to the park or pool, on nature Read more walks, and to museums, set up science experiments, read books, create arts and crafts projects and the like. It's rewarding for me and keeps them entertained and quenches their natural curiosity. I recognize, though, each family has there own comfort level regarding activities out of the home so I am open to whatever you are comfortable with.
