Hi, I’m Maggie! As the middle chilled of five, the role of babysitter was inherent. For practically all of my life, I have been responsible for my own siblings, their friends, and the kids of the many fun families I’ve been lucky enough to cross paths with over the years. From a quick day’s relief, to after school ride-duty, to live-in-stay, I’ve done it all. I’m currently working towards my MA in Counseling with an emphasis on the study of Eco Therapy, and an affinity towards children/adolescent/young adult clients due to my own childhood and the special perspective children view the world around them. I might be considered “old fashioned” in that kids and I are very rarely at the TV/using devices (never say never as we all know sometimes the only way to make a meal is to press play) - rather we spend a lot of time out Read more doors, exploring kid friendly places, and trying new activities. Whether it’s sports, or culinary experiences (I’ve spent the last 13 years in restaurants, so we often decide on fun new foods to prepare and try), I like to let the kid’s interests and imagination pave the way.
