I have always loved working with children and have done so professionally for multiple families. As an undergrad, I studies early childhood development and education and minored in special needs children. I have raised my son who is now 19 and living on campus at college so I'm an empty nester looking to get back into the field of childcare. I have been working mostly in an office setting the past 3 yrs utilizing my BA in accounting. I'm originally from the east and have only lived here in the Midwest for the past 3 yrs. I moved here in late August of 2021 looking for work. Before that I was a live in care taker for a friend's grandmother who had Alzheimer's and was in a bad car accident, so I've also been a care taker for older folks as well.
