I am a grandmother making a positive change in my life. Children make me smile and give me purpose. I would love to be able to provide a loving experience for young children while their parents work. As a working mom the last 33 years of my life, I know how important it is for parents to know their children are in good hands while they are away and I wish to provide that assurance for you. I am at an age where I now want to give back. I enjoy my time with my grandchildren and enjoy providing a loving, nurturing, learning and creative experience whenever I am with them. I have more patience with children now that I am older and my children have become wonderful adults. I am flexible with regard to time when necessary. I plan to take a CPR Certification course in March (I was Read more signed up, but it was cancelled due to weather. In the past, I have been a volunteer in the church nursery, as well as a Sunday School teacher for 4 year olds. I also used to work for two childcare centers in the office as their secretary, but filled in for teachers taking their breaks. I have two biological grandchildren and three surrogate granddaughters. I watch my two year old granddaughter on Thursdays.
