Every mom needs help once in a while. Grandmas are great for spoiling your kids with cuddles and cookies -- but also have a tendency to let their grandkids get away with things parents say no to (mine did). When you need or want someone who can spoil, teach, encourage, and maintain order at the same time, what you need is an Aunt. I am an Aunt to six amazing kids. I adore every minute of it and so do they. My sister’s daughter has often told her she, “needs some Aunt Jeanna time.” I am Aunt Jeanna to more than just my own nieces and nephews. I have been Aunt Jeanna, for several of my 15 years, to the kids at a summer camp (RoyalFamilyKids.org and ilrfkc.org) where I volunteer. I have also been “craft lady” for 10 of those years and I delight in filling free time with Read more activities, music and learning. I have also been a nurse for eight years and take great pride in the compassion and warmth I bring to that vocation. Kids know that Aunt Jeanna can be very silly and fun, but most importantly I am always caring and encouraging. I have recently relocated to St. Louis, because my husband's career brought us here. I couldn't bring my nieces and nephew with me, of course. Although each and every one of them is irreplaceable, I would love to fill my days here being Aunt Jeanna to someone's fantastic kids.
