My experience in child care began at age 13 babysitting nights and weekends for families in my neighborhood. As the years progressed and the children and I became close, I eventually moved to full time babysitting and nannying in the summers amongst 7 families throughout the years, 2 of them having 3 boys all under the age of 6! Children's energy and curiosity inspire me, and even when I left for college I continued working with children as a swim instructor and lifeguard. I studied French extensively, and would love to give elementary lessons to children if parents were interested. I have been child care certified by St. Luke's hospital, and have had CPR and first aid training through my lifeguard certification. I enjoy outdoor activities, reading, drawing, dancing, and sewing. I love animals, and have extensive experience in caring for dogs, cats, fish and birds.
