Hello, my name is Lori and thank you for viewing my bio. I am currently working for a local Bright Horizons center as part time resource teacher caring for infants through preschoolers. I have been teaching or caring for children for over 20 years. I started teaching children dance and tumbling at age fourteen through adulthood. I earned a Cecchetti ballet grade 1 teaching certificate while my daughters worked on their grades. I have been a babysitter for friends. I have been a substitute teacher for K through 8th grade and also a special education aid. I hold a degree in Art Education. I have also worked for Mad Science. I have worked for Head Start in Illinois as a teachers aid. I am CPR and first aid certified. At Bright Horizons, we have online safety or educational trainings monthly. I enjoy the outdoors and I take advantage of living Read more near Forest Park. I practice yoga daily and I am a Yoga With Adriene fan. I can’t wait to help you out with my knowledge from raising my own daughters and the skills I’ve acquired as a teacher/aid and current caregiver at Bright Horizons. Availability is with at least a 2 week notice to give the child care center. My availability is for Monday 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Wednesday 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Thursday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm. I am working as a nanny for a family on other hours and days.
