Hello, I am currently twenty two years old. My favorite hobbies I do as much as I can involving drawing, painting, reading, and the outdoors. I am a very caring person, especially towards those who are in need of help. I will always go out of my way to make sure people are not upset and care deeply about doing the right thing. I have been helping my parents care for my nephew, who has autism, since he was 6 months old. For over three years, I worked professionally with children at a before/after elementary school program. Doing so has given me so much joy. I love talking to them and helping them out with anything they need. It fills my soul with happiness to know that I am positively impacting their lives. I have learned a great deal of patience, and helping kids learn just about anything makes my Read more heart feel full. Their minds are so fragile, so I always try to ease them as much as I can, giving them guilt free playtime in my care. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have attended countless meetings to further my understanding and skill in emotional, safety, and creative aspects of working with children. I know how to keep a watchful eye on a large group of them, ensuring they all show kindness to each other. I’ve created and carried out countless lesson plans to make sure their time in program is fulfilling(I love doing hands on projects with kids a lot) I have worked with not only my nephew, but other special needs children one on one, who each have different needs and wants I take my time to fulfill. I truly find so much joy working with children. I believe it is my life’s calling to work with them. I want to change the world, one little person at a time.
