I’m 53 years old and worked in the medical field for 28 years and when my parent’s health started failing I started working at a PDO program so that I had more time to dedicate to them. I kept several of the kids on a routine basis through the years. Three years ago I had to quit work all together to care for my mom , I kept two kids at home on Wednesday and Friday’s. During the summer I keep a child that was in my class at the PDO and his older brother two days a week. We go on adventures, treasure hunts , to the lake, swimming at my house and lots of other fun things. I don’t believe in letting a TV babysit kids , we spend most of our time outside. We do art projects, learning activities and sometimes have themed based days. It’s never Read more a dull boring day at my house! The children are treated as if they are family.
