I currently reside in Memphis, TN but I grew up in Belzoni, MS. I absolutely love this area and all it has to offer: indoor swimming, spa-ing, and endless outdoor activities year round. I attended Mississippi Valley State University, Itta Bena and earned a BA in Mathematics. Because of this, I became a Mathematics schoolteacher and I currently teach eighth grade math. I adore teaching children mathematical skills, calculator hacks, & providing them with useful mathematical skills that can be applied to real-life situations as well. I love all animals, but I’ll admit I’m less of a fan of insects. I’m a self-declared excellent cook and baker; I have made endless dishes and freshly baked cookies and cupcakes. I have a crush on the world and love traveling. I love music, books, puzzles, crafts, board games, card games, and other interactive games like charades. One of my artsy specialties is Read more coloring and singing along to classic Disney songs, but my talents are adaptable and I love exploring whatever interests the kids I babysit. I have been working with children for the past 10 years in the position of babysitters, nanny, camp counselor, college math tutor, summer teacher, daycare assistant, high school teacher, middle school teacher, cheerleading coach, and assistant swim coach. Throughout these 10 years experience in the childcare field, I feel that I have gained excellent childcare experience with children of all ages. I simply love children and enjoy helping them learn and grow at every stage of their young lives. My strengths as a nanny are that I have a positive & upbeat personality, and that I am a very responsible, reliable and caring person.
