Hi, my name is Ashley and I recently moved back to Laguna Beach. I’m hoping to continue my passion working with children in this area. I have 6+ years experience as a nanny/caretaker, mainly in special education. I studied Social Work at University of Louisville when I was 17 and became a certified Learning Specialist shortly after. I was hired to care for a severely autistic child. My responsibilities included transporting her to daily activities/therapies, creating an Individualized Education Program to fit her needs, teaching her daily life skills such as cleaning/cooking/hygiene, and tutoring. I continued on in school to receive my Associates in Social Work then moved to Montana to work at school as a Para Educator. On the weekends and during the summer I nannied for local families.
