Meet Rian

I was raised in a small town in Montana with a good value system and a supportive family network. My parents are teachers and my brother and I both reaped the benefits of their professional understanding of child development and work ethic. My brother and I took a leap of faith and went to college out of state and I ended up going to school at Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I quickly fell in love with all that North Carolina has to offer and I am currently looking to get back and establish a life there. I have always enjoyed making an impact on the lives of children and I love being a small part of their growth and development. I have grown up around 19 cousins with 14 of them being younger. I Read more spent much of my preteen and teenage years scheduling, creating, organizing, and implementing activities curated for the growth and development of children of a variety of ages. In addition to my childcare experiences, I also have exposure in working with primary elementary students. I worked one-on-one and in small groups with students to help them strengthen their phonemic awareness and increase their fluency and comprehension. I have also supported students with their number sense and math comprehension. My family of educators have all contributed to my growth as a caregiver. My experience extends beyond my own family, having cared for the children of friends and acquaintances. I have experience as a home manager and pet supervisor for a family for the last six years. I am currently working as an executive/personal assistant for a large local company in Great Falls, Montana. I have my own transportation and a clean driving record. I am CPR and First Aid Certified.
