I became HRS (now Florida DCF) certified in high school many years ago in the OJT program and worked for three years as an assistant site director of the after school care program with Unique School Age Childcare and Noah's Ark nursery in the summer. I also volunteered each week with the ESE department children at West Pensacola Elementary in Florida. I am now employed full time in the Children and Family Services field in Buncombe County. Hello, just moved to town from Cincinnati,OH for my husband's job. I have 3 nieces, one nephew and more on the way that I love being with. I nannied my first niece(my sister's daughter) from 0-3yrs old. She is now 7. I absolutely loved the time I got to spend with her and it was the best job I've ever had. I love hiking and being outdoors so outdoor activities with the kids is definitely a must but I also love reading a good book and being inside. I don't have any kids of my own but love caring for them and spending time with them(aunt life is the best). I have a Great Pyrenees dog and two cats so definitely an animal lover.
