Hi! My name is McKenzie Bridges. I am currently an undergrad at Pacific Lutheran University located in Tacoma Washington. I am studying Nursing with a potential minor in Psychology. I will be living in the sweet town of Asheville North Carolina this upcoming summer of 2015 (Arriving in late May and ready at the drop of the hat there after). I am certified through Red Cross in baby sitting, a certified Swim Instructor through the Swim America Program(I have extensive experience as a Swim Instructor as well, working with all ages from tots to preteens), and have background in Lifeguarding as well. I have been selected as a Resident Assistant for the 2015- 2016 school year for the incoming class and I will also be a New Student Orientation Guide. I have also been elected as Vise President of my Residential Hall for next school year. I LOVE kids! I Read more babysat on and off throughout high school and volunteered at various youth functions. I believe in keeping children busy with fun activities and learning experiences- there are no couch potatoes on my watch! My background as a Swim Instructor primed me with the skills to act quickly and decisively in times of distress or disorder to rebalance the child's emotional or physical state. Overall, I believe in a nurturing approach with firm boundaries that will cater to both your needs as well as your child's or children's.
