My name is Annie Haines and I’m 26 years old. I’ve been house sitting, nannying, babysitting, and pet sitting for about 10 years now. I’ve cared for children of all ages, including children and teens with disabilities, and infant children. Some of my experience includes interning at a daycare in high school, babysitting, nannying, running children’s birthday parties, and directing an after school care program and summer camp! I’ve been babysitting since i was around 11 years old for the younger neighbor boys. I started babysitting them when they were in elementary school, one of which has autism. I babysat them for years and then started being a caregiver for my cousin who has special needs and disabilities. I also worked at an elementary school as an after school teacher for about a year. I then babysat for a 2 year old boy for a couple of months. I’ve also been babysitting for various family members young kids since I was old enough. I don’t have a ton of experience babysitting infants but I have been around them a good amount and I learn quickly.

Hi! I am an online student at carteret community college and have open weeks and some weekends. Whether it's playing games, helping with homework, or just providing a safe and fun environment, I enjoy making sure kids have a great time while staying well cared for. I have about a year experience with payed babysitting, but have a little brother I have also helped care for. I have a car and am comfortable and experienced with transporting kids. About me: I have grown up here in Northern VA my whole life with three other siblings and wonderful parents. I have a very outgoing personality and love people! I grew up with a passion for music. I began taking piano lessons when I entered first grade and continued them into my first semester of college. I competed on and national levels for voice, piano, and clarinet. I also taught four beginner students my Junior and Senior years of high school. I am a very outdoorsy person! I have grown up loving to fish, kayak, canoe, camp, and hike. I believe in being outside and enhancing your brain instead of sitting in front of screens. I am currently studying at the Annandale NOVA campus. My major is America Sign Language, and I take classes Mon-Thurs, 8am-3pm. I have a passion for the deaf community. My experience: I have a lot of babysitting experience for families, mostly date nights. I did have my first full time nanny position this past summer. I cared for two young boys, both with multiple food allergies and one with Autism. I accommodated a meal schedule for them and cooked breakfast/snack/dinner everyday. I enjoy cooking and cleaning! I would take them frequently to new places like: The zoo, trampoline parks, water parks, museums,...etc. I would spend most of the time playing outside or making homemade crafts. I love having fun with kids and teaching them new things.
