Hi! My name is Makayla and I'm a sophomore at Gardner-Webb University. I've worked with kids since I was 13 as an assistant instructor in martial arts and was hired as a lead instructor when I was 15. I also started babysitting and volunteering in kids' church about three years ago. I've worked with kids of all ages and abilities from newborn to high school. Whether we're playing sports, making crafts, doing board games, or building forts, being with the kiddos always puts a smile on my face, and volunteering in the nursery has always been one of my favorite ways to spend my Sunday mornings at church.
