Meet Jasmine

My name is Jasmine. I’m the oldest of 6 and I’ve been helping my mom care for my siblings for my siblings for as long as I can remember, so naturally, I share her love and passion for children. I have my own one year old son now who is growing and learning more everyday and nothing makes me happier than seeing that and playing in active role in his everyday learning. I hate that I have to miss any of it due to work and not being able to be around 24/7. I also noticed recently that he doesn’t like being in unfamiliar environments and seems to be very uncomfortable around other people, even when family or friends come over to our house. He clings to me the entire time and does not like for me to put him down, which is the complete opposite of how he normally Read more acts when we’re at home. I was hoping this would be a job that could potentially solve both of those issues. I would love to be able to spend all of my days with my son, even the work days, and hopefully him being around and playing with other children his age while help to him to become more comfortable in different environments. Maybe we can also help some other children who may be having similar problems. Unfortunately I don’t have an professional child care experience yet but I have provided great child care services to many family members. I do believe I would be a great fit for the role, I love to be able to help care for and make a difference in other children’s lives.
