Hi. Im Elizabeth, a recent graduate from Fayetteville State University. Im currently looking for additional income outside of working on my small business. I love children and spend time with my nieces and nephews on a regular basis. I previously worked for Farmers daycare, and still help as needed there. I now have free time during the week and some time on weekends to spare as well. I have started a nonprofit institute to work with youth on achieving their dreams, mentoring them, and tutoring as well. I have always been seen as the mothering kind amongst my friends, coworkers and family. I am available to start today!

I was a nanny to a wonderful pair of siblings starting when they were 2 and 3, but they are in Kindergarten and Pre-K now so I am available to help new families. The kids and I got along so well that they wanted me to move in. :) Since graduating, I have worked as an elementary school substitute, lead a 3 year old room at a daycare, and continue to work as a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center after being with the company nearly a decade, so whether your little one needs homework help or play time, I've got you covered. I also love pets and don't mind helping with basic house work.

Lori T.

Hi, my name is Lori and I have been in your shoes and I know how very critical it is to find just the right person to care for your child, so let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force (6 years), a retired Postmaster with the U.S. Postal Service (21 years), a wife, a mother of three (a set of twins + 1), a Dog Mom to a spoiled Pom-chi named Carly, and a Mema to 8 beautiful grand children. I love eating healthy, camping, hiking, working out, volunteering with my church's children's ministries (toddler Sunday school, infant nursery, youth age ministry outreach chaperone, vacation bible school, etc.), hanging out with family and kicking around with them at the park on a Saturday afternoon is the perfect day! So...you may be wondering why am I applying for a sitter/nanny position??? Well...for the last 40 years I have raised my children, helped raise my niece, and I also left my career when it was time for my Grand children to come along so I could help my children. The time has come where all but one are now in school, so once again the "feathers of the nest are empty". I would love to bring empathy, compassion, planning of age appropriate educational activities to your child while also foremost bringing a safety commitment as he begins to explore all his new first. There is something so special about seeing a child when they take their very first steps, or learn to ride their bike without their training wheels for the very first time or watching their faces as you are animating story time! Maybe this is the REAL reason why I'm applying, its that feeling from a child that you just can't get from anyone else. Having twins, 3 children (all in diapers at once) was my greatest blessing, (although I didn't see it at the time) because it gave me the gift of master multi-tasker which in turn carried over to my careers and would years later become my greatest strength. As your child changes, so will the days.. walks and fresh air are a must, story time as well, play days at the park..which by the way I will not be the sitter engaged on the bench with their cell phone, I will be the one that is sliding down the slide WITH your child as we are laughing the loudest! Get outside, get your hands dirty, life is just waiting for us to be creative. Praying you find the perfect fit for your precious one!

Victoria J.
- 12 years paid experience

My name is Victoria, and I am 28 years old. I have been a professional nanny for twelve years. I have experience working with children aged newborn to 12 years with a focus in newborn through 9 years. I have created numerous schedules for new moms, successfully potty trained seven children, managed to accumulate four life long friendships with the women I’ve worked for, and I’ve only been tinkled on twice! I enjoy being a nanny because I get to help nurture, educate, and empower our next generation of adults. I am a firm believer in the fact that a child's nanny, or sitter is a part of the child's family unit. It is important that the nanny be involved and included in most of the child's day to day activities and extracurriculars without displacing the parent. I provide a top notch level of care for the children whom I nanny. A typical day includes academic activities suitable for the child's age group, outside play and nature based learning, crafts and sensory play that help develop fine motor skills as well as imagination, field trips that enhance the child's understanding of the academic unit we are working on, and so much more! I believe that providing a child with a warm, healthy, balanced meals is an absolute must. I very much enjoy cooking, and love to incorporate some fun educational lessons while working in the kitchen (all activities are age appropriate, of course!). I do not allow much television/electronic use, and prefer tablets are not in use while I am working. When your child is older they will cherish memories from their childhood, and watching the hundredth episode of Doc McStuffins isn't exactly something that is going to stick with them. Halfway through my time with one of my most beloved nanny families I became a mother and welcomed a beautiful little girl into this world. She is as smart as she is kind, and is just an absolute joy to be around. She grew up with my nanny child, who was 18 months older than her. I love the joy that comes with every smile, hug, and giggle! I would simply love to be your Nanny McPhee!

Kayla M.
- 3 years paid experience

Hi! I'm Kayla and I go by Dani :) I'm 24 years old and while most of my work experience is in retail management I recently discovered that guiding children is what I'm passionate about. I've been babysitting on and off for a few years and most of my experience is with toddlers and children! I follow the 'gentle parenting' approach and practice Montessori guiding. I am not AMI certified yet but am very interested in doing so. While babysitting/nannying I like to encourage motor skills, speech skills, and helping the child understand the emotions they're feeling and healthy ways to deal with them. In my free time I like to crochet, read, play games on my computer/switch and go antiquing :)
