Hello! My name is Kaya. I have 10+ years of childcare experience with children ages 3 months -16 years. I began in child care by babysitting, then became a private nanny for a few wonderful families. Finding my love for child care, I moved on to work full-time at an elementary school as an assistant teacher for K-3rd grade and aftercare counselor for K-5th. I recently made a move from South Florida to WNC in order to be closer to family, and am looking to start full-time nannying here. I believe in the "old school" way of caring for children: more outside, hands-on time, fewer screens! In my free time, I enjoy hiking, nature trails, bird watching, swimming, painting, and art.
