Hi families! I'm thrilled at the thought of becoming your trusted sitter. What I love most about this role is witnessing the world through a child's eyes – their boundless imagination and the pure joy they find in the simplest things. It reminds me of my own childhood adventures, like that time I tried to build a working spaceship out of cardboard boxes (spoiler alert: it didn't fly!). Connecting with kids and helping them learn and grow in a safe and happy environment is truly what makes my day. I bring five+ wonderful years of experience caring for children, ranging from adorable little ones still in diapers to energetic elementary school kids who can tell you all about the latest dinosaur discoveries. In my previous experiences, I've had the pleasure of [once helped a budding artist create a masterpiece using only pasta and glue!] leading imaginative play sessions, assisting with Read more early reading skills (we even wrote a silly song about a purple elephant!), and preparing nutritious snacks (my banana "caterpillars" are a big hit!). I'm also quite comfortable with managing mild allergies and have experience caring for one energetic sibling who kept me on my toes with their hilarious storytelling. I've picked up some great techniques for fostering positive behavior through gentle encouragement and turning everyday tasks into little games. I also have a knack for remembering even the most specific instructions (like the exact way your little one likes their teddy bear tucked in!).
