I am a mother of four children (Grace 14, Will 13, Maggie and Naomi 6). We moved to Carrboro in August of 2013 after spending six years in China. Prior to that we lived in Denver, CO where I worked as a hi-tech marketing/communications professional. Now that all of our children are in school I am looking for part-time work as having four children is a big job in and of itself. As a high school and college student, I was a lifeguard and a swim coach. I am happy to get re-certified in first-aid and CPR. I love kids, especially the 9-16 month age when everything is new. I also love the stage sometime around 2 -3 years when they really begin to communicate verbally. I can work M-F from 7:30 to 1:30. I am happy to take the kids to the park, for a stroll, teach them Chinese, Read more to the YMCA for swim lessons (I was a division 1 scholarship swimmer), etc. I am unable to work this summer as I will be out of town from June 14 through July 26. Next summer I can be more flexible. I recently received my background check card for substitute teaching. Thanks for your consideration.
