Hello, my name is Izzy LaViola and I am an undergraduate student at UNC Chapel Hill. I am originally from California and transferred to UNC about two years ago. Before transferring I was worked full time at a non-profit, Learning Solutions, as a behavioral aide for children with autism for nearly three years. During my employment, I was an inclusion aide at elementary schools, provided behavioral therapy during in-home services, and ran socialization skill groups at my company's office. I currently work at the university's library during the week, as well participate in a child development lab. I plan on attending graduate school next Fall to pursue a master's degree in Speech Pathology. I am very passionate about working with children and am confident in my skills to provide childcare.
